Uranus in Gemini for Business: The Rules of Reach Just Changed
Every 84 years or so, one transit comes through and rewrites how business gets done. Not the offers. Not the pricing. The channels. The way you reach the people you are here to serve. That transit is Uranus in Gemini, and as of 2026 it is back, settling in for roughly the next seven years, for the first time since the radio era.
Open a business astrology text, even the ones written in the 1980s, and Uranus in Gemini gets the same warning: bad for business. And it is, if you are the last one still doing it the old way. Read correctly, it is the single biggest opening of the decade. Here is the context those books left out.
Why is Uranus in Gemini "bad" for business?
Gemini rules communication. Messaging, the channels we speak through, the way information moves. Uranus disrupts whatever it touches. Put the two together and the ways we reach people get shaken to the studs. Email, social media, the funnels and channels we have leaned on for years.
So does that mean you should toss your email funnel? Absolutely not. Delete your social media? Also no. It means the rules of content, messaging, and the channels we have come to rely on are about to ask you to innovate at a moment's notice. In Solution-Based Astrology™, my methodology at Mundus Wisdom, a transit like this is not a horoscope you brace against. It is a forecast you get to build against.
Is email marketing dying?
I had this pressing concern for months, and I realize now it was of course Uranus in Gemini. Email marketing is about to have a massive shake up. We already know newspapers are in the grave and old print media with them. But what we call "new" is often already old. Email is one of those things. The filtering gets easier and smarter every quarter. On my last check, one of my personal inboxes was averaging around 100 emails a day, most of it filtered out before I ever saw it.
I found myself going back in and re-finding email letters I loved but had not seen in months, because my inbox quietly filtered them away.
The wake-up call: missing my favorite emails
The moment I realized I was not getting Pilar Lesko's drops of wisdom in my inbox, I moved fast. As a Projector who takes long hiatuses, I had just assumed she was resting. When I realized that was not the case, I scrambled to make sure her emails landed in my inbox every single time. You add the sender to favorites, or star them in Gmail, by the way.
But instead of hoping your clients are going to star you, because let us be real, that is not a strategy, you have time to build something better. Time to see your own solution for owning a channel your people choose to seek out. Time to start looking for what is emerging in your industry as a real alternative, before you need it.
What replaces email and social media next?
Everyone kept asking me, why not just hop on Substack? My answer: Uranus in Gemini will hand us a genuinely new platform, or a new way of communicating altogether. And we will not see it fully rise until Uranus is deeper through Gemini. It does not switch overnight. When radio arrived, newspapers took another 60 years to fully fall away. They just started becoming less effective immediately.
But success leaves clues, and the markers of the winners are already showing up. Three of them are clear enough to name right now.
1. Being recommended by an AI
As people get more overwhelmed by social media, they lean on something to filter and recommend for them. More and more, that something is an AI. People are searching through conversation now, asking ChatGPT and other tools what to do, who to trust, what to buy. Those answers are only going to get better and more trusted. You want to be the name that gets recommended when your ideal client asks. This is exactly why I built Meridian, an AI astrology tool trained on a real methodology, because I would rather build the thing than be replaced by it.
2. Owning a branded community channel
The second marker is a branded world people plug into on purpose. Not a rented audience on a platform that can hide you overnight, but a home base you own. Telegram channels, community platforms, a real place where your people come to be inside your world. When the algorithm buries you, the ones who chose you still know exactly where to find you.
3. Physical touchpoints
The third is physical, and this is where Uranus overlaps with Saturn. As attention fractures, there are two ways through. You can go viral constantly, which pulls you deeper into paid reach and still costs you time and money. Or you can reach people off their phones entirely. At their door. In their hands. I already have plans to create a physical newspaper delivered around the globe in 2028, because that era rewards slow, physical, stable media, and because it will be the most tender moment in this whole disruption of how we communicate.
Here is what I am not handing over yet: the single platform to go all in on, and the exact dates and windows I am watching. Those I am tracking as they emerge and sharing as we go, with Fall of 2028 being a particularly important one to watch. This is not your sign to move now. It is your sign to start clocking what is emerging before the crowd does, and to build a frame of reference in your own life. Start looking for a different way now, while you still have room to be early.
And when everyone finally moves in one direction, remember: the ones going against the grain can win on nostalgia alone. This is less "burn it all down" and more "pay attention and be ready to pivot."
What does history say about Uranus in Gemini?
The last time Uranus was in Gemini, radio was the disruption. Businesses and politicians who had spent decades mastering the written word, the perfectly ordered newspaper ad, the flawless speech on paper, got disrupted overnight by voice. Suddenly people could feel you speaking. They could feel your presence through the airwaves.
It was no longer the best writer who won. It was the most felt. The brands that could not make that leap into intimacy got left behind, and off the back of it came commercials and a whole new business grammar. It was a massive upheaval, full of "what is going to land next" uncertainty.
It stopped being about the best writer. It became about the most felt. That is exactly the shift coming for business again.Kacy Danae
And there is a twist this time. Over the past several years, even consumers like my grandmother have grown wise to marketing tactics that once flew completely under the radar. Messaging has been studied by the masses. So what lands next will not be the slickest funnel or the cleverest hook. It will be the most felt leadership, from the people willing to actually be seen practicing what they preach.
How do you build something people seek out?
While Uranus shakes the channels, Saturn in Aries is reshaping the whole industry now through 2028. Everyone says create a movement. But what is a movement, really? For that, look at culture, and go back to where the word comes from.
The word cult, and the word culture, both trace back to the Mystery Schools of old. Borrow a page from them. People listen to the things that affirm how they already see the world. Which means, now more than ever, the question is this: how do you affirm the identity and the world your clients need to be living in for their success?
Whether it is paid or free, the communication systems you own are what matter, and I would not count on "owning" your email list as the thing five or six years from now. When you build a community with your words, one that forms around a shared identity, your people keep seeking out what you have to say, no matter what the channels do.
Stop thinking business. Start creating a world.
Shape the beliefs of the people who interact with you. Create shared rituals and language. Name the common enemies you all stand against, the hills you would die on in your industry. When you nail those things, you are not crossing your fingers that retargeting or an email funnel slips past a growing wall of spam filters. Your people come looking for you.
That is your Saturn in Aries move: let people feel you. Your real, unfiltered thoughts. Your expressions, your mannerisms, how you actually lead. This is the era to disrupt any form of communication, and it is enough advance warning that some of you reading this will get to trailblaze the new channel and become genuinely iconic for it.
So what does this mean for your business?
Three things to hold as this transit does its work over the next couple of years.
- Be ready to switch channels, but not yet. Something always replaces what is working less efficiently. The rise of it is not here in 2026. Start looking around now so you are early, not late.
- Keep the mind of a beginner. Be willing to test, trial, and fail. The more you flow with the natural shifts, the better you fare. And do not join the crowd that bemoans "there is nothing to be done." That is a dangerous crowd to stand in.
- Lead with your mastery. In the next two years especially, people are craving leadership, which is more than hot takes and tips. It is showing that you actually practice what you preach.
The industry is changing. I've been preparing my clients since 2024.
